Few activities combine engagement and education as effectively as model rocketry. Watching a rocket you built leave the launch pad is a memorable moment - but the real learning happens in the weeks of design, testing, and iteration that lead up to it.
In our Model Rocketry & Launch Lab program, students start by understanding Newton's laws through the lens of thrust and recovery. They design their rocket body for stability, choose fin configurations, and calculate estimated altitudes based on motor specifications.
Each launch is a data point. Students record altitude, flight time, and recovery behaviour, then refine their designs for the next attempt - the same engineering design cycle used by professional teams at every level, from rocketry clubs to national space agencies.
For students ready to go further, Advanced Rocketry & Propulsion Engineering introduces multi-stage rockets, thrust-to-weight calculations, and on-board telemetry - building directly toward the skills used in real aerospace careers.
