Atal Tinkering Labs: What Schools Need to Know

The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) scheme, run under the Atal Innovation Mission, gives schools access to dedicated spaces equipped with tools for STEM exploration - 3D printers, robotics kits, electronics components, and more.

Having the space and equipment is only the first step, though. The real value of an ATL comes from how it's used: structured curricula, trained facilitators, and a steady pipeline of projects that keep students engaged throughout the year.

We work with schools to bridge exactly that gap - providing curriculum support, hardware kits (robotics, IoT, CanSat, and BCI-ready sensor kits), and trainer support so that ATL spaces are used to their full potential rather than sitting idle.

Whether a school is setting up a new ATL or looking to revitalise an existing one, our STEM & Innovation Education team can help design a year-long program calendar - spanning robotics, aerospace, AI, and brain-computer interface modules - that keeps students building, testing, and competing.
